Hey everyone it`s been a looong time... I got internet working back again...
So i got a problem with drums sequencing... Gonna try to explain...
Some time ago to write and compose drums tracks i used Encore (Standard notation software like Sibelius or Finale) So i was able to write drum fill as i like no matter how weird they were... Those programs can import music files to midi. For making the sound i used Yamaha Xg 100 Soft Synth wich is old but had some OKAY drum sounds (Processed with Sound Forge they where fucking cool)... No as i don`t use Win 98 (Win XP now) i don`t have that Yamaha xg 100 soft... I only can use the Xg 50 for win XP... But the problem is that the drums suck... The Bassdrum is crap...
Now i got some drum sequencers but they are pure crap... Yes they can reproduce WAV drum samples... That`s good but you have this... Grrr... You know the screen it`s not music notation it`s like a meassure divided and you put little dots to make the notes... And you are limited in so many ways...
So to make a long story short... I got 4 CD with drum samples... Now if i have the midi track what Program can i use so i have the midi drum track i wrote reproduced with those good WAV sounds...
Hope someone can help me...
By the way my pc is a pentium 1 Ghz with 512 ram... So i can`t use last week ULTIMATE drum sequencer...
Thanks a lot...
Diego.

Can't you just use Cubase or sum? ;D I just figured out myself how to do midi shit in Cubase without midi controller ;D

i use cubase as well...i dummy track everything in with a MIDI keyboard, then go in and manually clean everything up. only thing i don't like about it is that i can't make thy almight double bass sixteenth note triplets ov d00m. other than that it sounds great.
try finding a download of guitar pro. you can tab out drum tracks and do a midi export. thats what i'm going to try to start doing soon.
