I have recently realized that I can only actually play decently well at night. When I jam during the day, I suck major balls.
What the hell can I do about this? It's pissing me off. Warmup doesn't work -- until 10 at night, when I become an incredible metal god.

me personally, i usually do my warmups (Rock Discipline stretches, chromatic runs, minor scale stuff, 3 string arps up to and down from the 12th fret) for 15 to 20 minutes, then i put my guitar down and do nothing for maybe half an hour. When i go back to my guitar, i find my hands feel/work better than when i warm up and start shredding right off. running my hands under some hot water for a little while sometimes helps as well.

Same thing here, I have to warm up ALOT prior to be able to play anything else than Motley Crue 80's stuff or easy metal. I usualy warm up for 30 minutes or something, get a lil break and a coffee, then re-warm up.
Don't worry bro, Dominic "Forest" Lapointe, bassist in Augury/Atheretic said he had to warm up TWO hours before playing a gig with Atheretic (Technical as fuck death metal, but they can't have a half decent guitar tone *is pissed off*
