dont worry about it. Dave would probably never switch and he will probably make Broderick use seymours :/ Dave: "Hey Chris, it's uberdos that you're playing for us now. Only thing is, you have to use the Seymour Duncan Dave Mustane signature active pickups now that you're with us..." Chris: "Uh...no." Dave: "C'mon man, why not?" Chris: "Because, it won't sound as badass when i do this..." *Broderick administers 5 octave 8-finger tapping arpeggio lick* Dave: "...uh...well, you still have to use Duncans..." :/

yeah. And then they let him play through line6 live. Ill commit a suicide. most likely to be custom/heavily modded line6's tho.. BUT PEOPLE WILL STILL BUY THAT STUFF :/ The other day at guitar store, seller was trying to sell a line6 head to this poor guy... BTW, I should start my own coffee brand like Mustaine..

i don't have a problem with line 6 amps except for the spider series. Flextones are alright, mainly if you just need to be versatile. the pod stuff is good because poor S.O.B.s like myself can record direct to computer, and as stated before, they allow you to be versatile.
spiders are OKAY IMO (and i use OKAY very very very loosely), but the crappy effects are what i hate about them. they'll be into the 15th installment of the spiders and the effects will still suck.

okay so i sent the news about broderick to my friend james who's going to school at musicians institute, and he said that broderick was actually one of the teachers there, and he's sat in on his open counselling.

Am i the only one disappointed by this? Its cool that chris is getting exposure, but i was totally hoping he'd be on the next Nevermore record, and stay in Jag Panzer, both of whose recent output is better than anything Megadeth has done in over a decade :/

Yeah, well I can't say I'm a big nevermore or jag panzer fan... at least 'Deth's pre-RIP is badass.
Beside, he pretty much nails EVERY Friedman solos...
*Hi, I'm chris Broderick and i'm better than you*

'Deth post-Risk is fuckin' badass too, and I can't say I hate every Risk song. The sound on each MD album just keeps getting better, and the songwriting hasn't deteriorated much.
