You idiot. Wear earplugs. If you're going pro, get some custom ones with even frequency attenuation made up. You'll thank me later. I'm serious. Ringing ears means you just lost a little bit of your hearing. A tour or two will FUCK YOU UP. I KNOW THIS. luckily, my other guitar player works on the ramp at an airport, and said he can get me some for free, which is always nice

Okay, sorry, dude. I've had to play at high volume without earplugs before, and it sucks.

Okay, sorry, dude. I've had to play at high volume without earplugs before, and it sucks. really, with it being just one night of practice, my ears don't feel any different than if i'd been at a concert last night. not meaning that i'm not going to get ahold of some ear protection, but I don't feel as though anything happened that wouldn't have happened had i gone to a show instead.

Well, concerts have basically the same effect on your ears, man.

I have never worn earplugs at any show I've played. It is not a good idea. Im sure I have some amount of hearing loss. I just can't stand those orange and purple foam ear plugs....good ear plugs are a good idea

I should wear earplugs... They screw with my balance though. Something to do with my middle ear... is there a way for them to not do that?
