Mike (Arisen) was telling me to find a Peavey 60/60 (that's stereo...they also say 50/50 stereo and the 120 monos are good too) power amp when i was still planning to get the 530. Old tube power amp that's built like a TANK. a lot of them that were bought new back in the late 80s are just now having to have some minor repairs made. you can usually find them for around $300 or so and still in reasonably good shape.

well, $1000 max (anything around $500 would be awesome). I would like to get an ENGL but they around $2k.
I could probably swing $1000 by the end of this year. But, Im fucking broke. and the band is broke. and we've just been dumping money into this band for a couple years....its hard to save anything for gear.

SUP? I liked the Randall RT2/50 that i had,,for the ability to switch between the EL34's on one side and the 6L6's on the other, and you can find them used for about 550- 600 range,, BUT,,I'll tell you brother,,,If you can hold out, and your gonna spend $1000,,,, buy used and just get the KING of kings..the VHT 2150... Damn i miss the 2 that i had one of these days though MOSHON DAVE

I found a Peavey classic 120 for only $200. anyone have experience with these? GET IT! a friend of mine has a 60/60 (stereo version of the 120) and it's easy to use and built like a tank. i've heard nothing but good about them.

only thing i dont like is that the controls are on the back.. but for 200....i should probably just snag it and if i dont like it get something else later
