I can't count it.. after 260 my brain just goes da-da-da-da instead of 1-2-3-4 and I really have no idea of how fast I'm going so I'd say 260 bpm in 16ths (for notes per click).
And just for the record:
Vikings didn't land on Iceland, they were spawned here in the fieary pits of the volcano Katla and from here they invaded all other countries (russia, usa etc.).
Thus: Iceland > Rest of the world

Actually Russia didn't invent vodka if I recall from some show I watched awhile back. They just made it popular.

If only I was further in my learning of Old Norse I might have been able to read that! The only word I recognize is "Já"...and thats only 'cause its similar in Danish. I suspect "rússneskar" to be Russia.

No i can only tell that Ásmegin means something like "on the gods' side" like in battle. Have no clue what hin vordende sod og sö means.

None of my family has any clue either. Since Danish is almost the same as Swedish and Norwegian, I'm guessing its right outta Old Norse then, with little connection to a modern language. Thanks for the 'Asmegin' part though... much appreciated.

BMUP for this thread, hope you see it Endless.
I have been going through some old icelandic literature and Ive found out that Ásmegin means "the power of gods". It was said that when Thor grew sometimes Ásmegin and that meant he got more powerful
