I have heard a lot of times about "precision" of guitars, and since I only own 1 axe now, I have nothing to compare with... What is this precision about? And I also heard that if you shred on a low-end axe the notes will somehow mix together... Is this the same thing?

I have never heard this. I have heard of "precision of fingers," though. Don't trust the reviewers on Musiciansfriend. (This post is mostly sardonic.)

yeah I presume they're talking about how accurate the playing is... "the precision of the players fingers".... or possibly how well made the guitar is.... "this guitar plays very precisely..." "nice and precise" I've heard a few times.
and as for low end notes mixing together??? maybe if your tone is too bass heavy it might sound like shit when two separate notes ring at the same time? just a case of too much low end noise for the speakers to handle.

yeah i think the deal about the notes mixing together and sounding muddy would be more of a problem with the quality of the amp vs the quality of the guitar. well, that or the guy playing it just sucks and needs to clean up his chops

Yeah thought so too... I saw a review of a guitar on a russian website where a dude wrote that the guitar is very precise and notes do not sound muddy while shredding. That guy must have smoken some crack while playing other guitars Anyways thx for info guys
