Go for music books imo... PC's keep getting old no matter how fast you upgrade them, but music is there and will be there forever. Also I've found some modal lessons that might interest you here: www.bmusic.com.au/links/lessons/theory/modes1a.htmlBut ofc, the stuff you get for free cannot be compared to the stuff that you pay at least 10 bucks for... Imho go for books, they have everything you need to become what you want to be thanks for the link bro! i'll check it out!

Pat, the books are definitely a worthwhile investment. Vol 2 does have some good stuff on modes, but Fretboard Mastery has an even more complete breakdown of just about every scale there is. (Well, maybe not THAT many, but there is a TON of 'em in this one.)

Exactly. You pay only 20 bucks but get a complete guide to music that would take you years to master. Definitely worth it
