Acid Rain would definately have to be one of the most badass intros to a 7-string song ever, along with the beginning of Psalm of Lydia by Nevermore...so much dos one almost can't handle it.

Update on Maries new toy.......
Its an 1987 S540R. I was wrong about the headstock angle... It is in fact a 14 degree tilt, but it also has a very slight thickness diference in the back of the neck. Ith feels like a wizard2, but feels like a diferent radius profile. Kinda thicker at the heel, but same at the 9th fret to the nut. The body is basswood with a nice grain to it. Unfortunately the wood itself is dyed from the shitty prep the previous owner did before he painted it.
Shes gonna do good with this 1... I can feel it

thanks...that jackson is my pride and joy. i love that thing. it's been in the case for the past week since i'm breaking my new 7 in still. i'm probably gonna break him out tomorrow and shred on him a bit.
BTW, i use red jazz III's because the fact that they're bright red makes them easy to see, therefore harder to lose...and i still lose them by the pack it seems like. the black ones wouldn't stand a chance.

I like the black ones cause they're stiffer than the red ones. Makes super fast picking easier, especially alternate picking.
