Played 1 today. Aside from the shitty setup (action was a lil high and innotation was a bit off)... its pretty nice sounding. It felt really solid for a beginner guitar. Im impressed.

Why the hell someone would pay for an Ibanez GRG when you can get a Yamaha...
I tried some Ibanez GRG and didnĀ“t like them at all... Pups are horrible... And the fretwork is not good at all... Bad finishing... And well there is no point to talk about those GRG with "floyd rose" bridges...
Get Yamaha.

Ibanez says its a mahogony body..... but I doubt it. Its too light. The 1 I played was light and had a plastic feel to it. It did however sound decent. Not good or even 1/2 great.....decent.
I think they made the same move Dean did. Using synthetic wood...aka the same shit they make cheap pencils out of.
They may sound better with EMGs....... perhaps?!
