I became a member of the Ibanez family today by purchasing an old school Ibanez Pro Line 1770 made way back in '86. I tried it out last saturday in the store and the next 2 days the thing wouldn't leave my mind, just toooo fucking good guitar to let it pass me by so I bought it. Looks just like this one except the scratchplate is black: www.ibanez87.it/english/collection/cybill.aspxI think it's got the Ibanez Edge Tremolo which is just AWESOME! I can divebomb down to hell and back and the thing is in tuning like nothing ever happened. The fretboard is smooth and nice. Plus there is a crazy pickup-selection system that allows me to choose all combinations of pickups possible and even split the humbucker! It looks like all these 21 years the guitar hasn't been played at all! It's as good as new and only 830 bucks! Soon I'll own electric guitars worth 6000 bucks and not even a decent amp to plug into .. I reeaally aughta get myself an amp.. still, no regrets:D

It's the crazy pickup-selection thing.
top black:switches to buttons mode instead of the toggle switch 1st white: neck pickup (single coil) 2nd white: middle pickup (single coil) 3rd white: bridge pickup (humbucker) bottom black: splits the humbucker to single coils
Now I can select any possible comination of these switches (1+2, 3+1, 1+2+3, split3+2 etc...)
