God, Strength of Ages was so fucking happy. But hey, it had a guitar solo that wasn't awful! This is a huge step forward for both hardcore and Christian music (no offense: I'm Christian myself and hate most Christian anything. It's just another sales ploy -- marketing to a niche and all that).

yeah i've seen WoA before, and their shows are BRUTAL. They're really cool guys too. And they have endorsement with VHT and i agree about the Christian music thing, but they're out there if you look for them. They're normally on the smaller labels like Facedown, or they have no label at all - or they're Scandanavian if you want REALLY dos Christian music, check out Aletheian and Essence of Sorrow...they're Emp and Mike approved. www.myspace.com/aletheianwww.myspace.com/essenceofsorrow

so i just watched it again...bands like them make me want to be in a metalcore band. you know, the ones that can shred (much less actually play guitar)
