thnx. that was my chill, easy listening-metal track. i'm working on something now that i'm trying to find a way to put a drum track to but i'm having problems figuring out how decalzo used guitar pro for his backing on his myspace tracks. this new piece i'm working on putting together, when finished, will do two things: -melt face -slit emo-kid wrists for them
btw, that track i have up, all the chord progression is Am, C, and the "Van Halen" D.

Dude, do the drum track, export it to MIDI.
then you have two choices.
1st- use "MIDI To WAV converter" to convert the track into audio, then use it in your recording software.
Or 2nd option, if you have drum samples (drumkit from hell, for example) get N-track studio, import the MIDI track, apply the patches to the notes (you have to do each of 'em separately, sometimes its hard to set 'em up tho) then hit record. it should play the drum parts with the samples.

yeah i was surprised it turned out so good seeing as how i didn't really even "write" anything...i just threw it together in a couple hours. I had to scrap the originally melody line i did for it because when i went back to track the harmony over it i forgot what i'd played originally and couldn't get it for the life of me.

just a little update: i found out the other day that one of my friends who i haven't chilled with for a couple months now recently downloaded a ton of software (midi sequencing, voice recording, etc.) and has been using it to compose videogame music. I mentioned something to him about it the other day, and now I'm going to track the guitar parts to my new song, and he's going to put backing to it. There will possibly even be vocals (grind and melodic, more than likely by me ) We're just waiting for some free time to come up where we can get together and collaborate, so expect something in the next month to two months. expect minor 3rd harmonies, sixteenth notes, dime-style harmonic squeals, sweeping (if i can get my 5 string majors up to speed in time to lay the track down), floyd abuse, acoustic guitar instrumental breaks, and a whole lot of flexing
