I jammed out on the riff from Episode 1 Mission 1 of the computer game DOOM (you know you've all played it...) And I added some sequenced drums and shiznit, tagged a solo on to the end and posted it at YTMND. Let me know if you like it. nedmthisbitch.ytmnd.com/

Thats badass. I Tried learning the exact fills that had in hte midi, but those things were HARD AS FUCK. i was wondering if yuo did the same or different. this is badass though. i wanna do some DOOM covers...

I didn't even try to learn most of the fills from the actual midi, because I don't think they sound that great on real guitar, and because they were sequenced out in midi instead of written for viable guitar fingering, so they're hard as shit.
I just sorta made up my own.
Most of the Doom songs are pretty easy. Unfortunately after the first couple levels of the original doom, the music wasn't very metal anymore, it was more ambient, so I don't know if it'd be as cool to cover.
I think Doom 2 had some epic songs though.
