Hey guys, I get lots of different heads in & out of the studio. Would anyone be interested if I took a bunch of heads playing through the same mic/cab/mic pre/converter setup and recorded them so you guys can hear the differences in tones?

I have a dual recto and a 5150 in today and a few minutes of free time.... I'll see what I can do to start.

I've got a mesa 4x12 w. vintage 30s miced up. I know cabs make a huge difference, but I've only got 1 in the studio. By keeping the cab and mic position constant, you can hear the differences between the heads. As I get more heads in I'll add different ones. Besides.... v30s are my personal favorite speaker for distorted guitar sounds. ;D
