Have you looked at strap extensions ever? I know Steinberger uses them to balance their crazy-ass guitars out. It's just a little extender that changes the center of gravity on your cockstringer.

Sup? sorry I've been slackin on the updates,, I had made one about a week oago and typed up this big long post and just about had it done , and firefox crashed. I was pissed ,, cause I type kinda slow and it took forever so i said fuck it,,anyway I figured I'd try again First off,, "n3r3m4c"...yes i have looked at them before,,but they aren't really my thing. Ok, Got the Jack placement pics, originally, the bottom button shold have gone close to the crotch in the V, so i wanted my jack to face down so my cord could go strait down and hug the body to my strap without the big loop, but the bottom button will most likely not be there, but we have already addressed the problem, as I had forgot about the 90deg. plugs i have sitting in my parts box, and for one thing if i would have had my head out off my ass and thought about them, the jack would be on the back of the guitar like i orig. had in mind but somehow let slip my mind in the pure awesomeness of the build,,,anyway all the next guitars i have done will have the jack on the back where i want it,,,what we have planned for this one is he has a custom flat jackplate made up for me that has the same screw holes, so if the button falls anywhere other than below the current jack, I can replace it with the flat one, and use my 90deg. plugs and the cord wil just swivel to whatever direction my strap is in. Also, he got my Purpleheart ring cut for the trem cavity that i wanted, Its just sitting on top in the pics right here... He sent me some stain pics, and they were very close but not quite the right shade i was looking for, So he contacted someone he knew, and brought a pic in that i sent him of around what i had in mind, and the guy said immediately that that color was "Cobalt Blue Candy" from House of Kolor so what he did was aply the stain, then sand it down some, to bring out the grain, then shot the Cobalt blue(4 coats) and I liked it but thought it might need a couple more coats to get it there...... OH HELL YEAH (control cav/ batt cover) oh yeah,, here is the pic he showed the guy... The dude has a great eye anyway,,,He said that the one pic taken inside ,,is the closest representation of what the color is in person,,,,That is the color I was looking for ;D He should be getting done with the 6 or so coats of clear sometime by the end of the weekend, and after it cures for a couple of days then its time to start putting on the chrome ;D MOSHON DAVE

Ive always loved that color. Its lookin mighty sexy.
I use House of Color products for 2 reasons..... Its pretty much the best product with the best options and cross compatibility (pearls, candies, flakes, shifts and translucents.....)
It can be purchased from them directly w/o a tax ID# way cheaper than it can from a distributor ;D

Sup? I just got an e-mail this morning, I might gets some more pics today, and he said he is shooting for putting it in my hands within 2 weeks ;D When i get it in, and the verdict is in,, I'll post a bunch of full on pictures, with some more info, and give a full review and if there is something someone wants to know or close pics of, or whatevewr, I'll be happy to oblige,,, and maybe some soundclips or something too,,, I CANT WAIT as last year was pretty well screwed up and shitty for me,,and I spent more time doing other shit instead of playing,,I told myself, when this gets here, everything else becomes secondary and i will concentrateon getting my fluidity and technique and chops back up,,,,and turn the page anew so to speak. Cause i really miss loving my instument, and most of last year and some this year has really kept me down and in a funk,,,this should be liberating,,,at least thats the plan anyway MOSHON DAVE

I feel your pain. Theres been alot I havnt gotten done myself........including practicing.
I really need to build myself a new pc for the studio too. I havnt recorded shit in over a year. I thought getting SX3 would motivate me....pffft. That POS pc in there wont even run the software cuz its too slow heh.
All in all.... I think this year will be better for us both man.

Sup? I got a couple pics this morning, and thought I'd share I should get some out in the sun pics in a couple of days, as its about to storm where he is, and he still has to stain/paint the face of the binding by hand with a tiny brush, but other than that it is ready to go. He said that he is going to keep it one more week so it can leave it strung up, and adjust the neck if it needs it before it ships out to me, also, that the action is right at about 1mm at the 22nd fret, as 1.5 makes the string move ;D . even though the EMG does not need a ground wire to the trem claw, there is one there in case i choose to put a passive P'up in later,,,If i ever do, I'm thinking something from Bare Knuckle perhaps. As for the price,,, he probably wouldn't dig me giving out the exact cost,,,BUT ,,,I will tell you this,, I could have went to Musicians Friend and bought an everyday ole cookie cut USA production model Jackson ,,,say,,a blue ghost flame KV2 King V ,,,,OR.... I could get a full blown Fit like a glove custom axe and still have a BUNCH of change... I hope that clears that up ;D MOSHON DAVE
