I can has one. With FR, Tremol-no, and EMG 18v mod. I am considering ditching the tremol-no, since the unit does not like returning to pitch, and that is gay.

The other guitarist in one of the bands i play in has a Loomis with a floyd,, it makes a "tink" sound when he uses it,, I did a setup for him on it, cause we both have to have our floyds fully floating, and just so,, anyway,, i tried but couldn't get rid of the sound,,so he was going to order a new locknut as this is where the problem is,, just a cheap one i guess. other than that it plays well,, the neck is a little too fat for my liking, but i do like the scale length hell ya man, grab it up,, and MOSHON DAVE

Some ppl put some foam where the springs are to kill the noizes, but maybe it's not the problem
BTW DAVE, do you show up to every jam with a different guitar ? ;D

The problem was not excess noise, it's that it wasn't coming back to zero when I used it. I removed the tremol-no and replaced it with an extra string (I've got five now, bitches ) and the trem works mostly fine now. Whole guitar goes slightly flat slowly, but I'm going to give it a few days to settle in before I start freaking out about that. Also, fuck you guys, you know what teh loomis looks like

Oh no I am afraid it doesnt work that way. Starting a thread about one's own guitar and not posting a single pic of it is a fail. Do something about it

I removed the tremol-no and replaced it with an extra string (I've got five now, bitches ) Which is a porblem, because its a 7 string guitar. even more fail. You're really racking it up

Some ppl put some foam where the springs are to kill the noizes, but maybe it's not the problem The noise was from the locknut actually,,something was just not right about it. As for the setup, I don't know why i didn't mention it in my other post ( brain fart i guess) when i set up his trem(3 springs btw) He kinda had the same problem,,what i did was first, took an emery cloth to the studs where the knife edges sit, as sometimes(kind of uncommon but I've dealt with this more than 3 times before so i usually just do it anyway) the the coating is unevenly distributed in the stud crevasse,, then i went through my parts box and swapped out springs until I got the right feel. and all is great now, it returns to pitch and flutters nice now too and I'm a firm believer of buying a bunch of extra springs to have on hand to adjust the trem feel. and don't think all springs are created equal BTW DAVE, do you show up to every jam with a different guitar ? ;D Sometimes MOSHON DAVE

Fucking assfuck. I can't tell if I'm confusing normal fret slap from low action (the string is almost touching the fret above it when it's fretted) with fret buzz or not.
