Fuck that, you can play the 5th fret harmonic on the two lil strings and dive the bar ;D (my favorite thing ever)

Beyond the fact that I use those notes, I really like the 'complete-ness' of having the full second octave. I could, realistically, go without... but it would bug the hell outta me

I dunno how in F's sake soo many ppl (including me !!) are annoyed by lacking 2 frets.
fret 23 = I NEVER ever use it
fret 24 = sometimes, I wish i had a 22 then a 24 tho, to have more room for my finger (so i can vibrato the note properly)

well if you are playing in harmonic minor u get to use 23
also its kinda the same as with 27 frets... you seldom use last ones but the cutaway is bigger

Some go up to 36.... you can't even fit your fingers on those, unless your adding the frets to the bass end. 24 is fine. After that, I say add more strings instead.
Cutaway size is a good point, though. I was looking at some 36 fret Conklins thinking about how great it would be to play up to the 24th fret as if it was the 12th, instead of twisting/arching/etc.

Has anyone seen those crazy delta wing kramers? some have the 36 frets AND seven strings AND a floydrose. All they lacked was a neck pickup...

Under the fretboard brother Here is a little Uli Roth,,these are not fanned but the principle is the same not as visible on the 7 string, but Does that fretboard kinda remind you of anything? ;D MOSHON DAVE
