Century Media has been picking up quite a few bands lately. They are releasing the next Daath album and its rumored that 3 Inches of Blood is going to sign with them.
Both bands released their last albums on Road Runner records...looks like RR is getting rid of their newer metal acts. I have a feeling they are starting to sift the smaller metal bands out of their roster.

Ive seen this before. When I was with 1096 (the band, not the penal code) we went through the whole A&R "brunch" meeting bullshit with high hopes and got nowhere. The higher ups decided metal wasn't in their future. I got a free meal out of it though.
Road Runner signed Nickelback for fucks sake.
Im not talkin shit about Century at all. Im really impressed that they have been signing up with GOOD bands lately!

Yea CM and Nuclear Blast have consistently been my favorite labels since I started listening to metal. Its a bummer that road runner seems to be done with metal bands (i may be totally wrong) They have signed a lot of great bands.
Nickel Backs contract is running out though. They have signed with a different label. I cant remember how many albums they have left with RR though. It'll be interesting to see what happens
