anybody had the chance to try them out? I can't find anything on them other than 1 review on H-C and that guy said they rock.
their artist relations guy messaged us on myspace about an endorsement deal and I couldn't find any demo vids on youtube...jake's thinking about messaging them and see if they can send us a couple to review.
all their cabs on musicians friend are 4+ stars, but none of their heads are listed

Wish I could help though i was wanting to look through and see what they had but their site has been under construction ever since they sent us that message. their cabs on musicians friend are all at 5 stars, and the one review i found on HC for their 120W head really talked them up, but i'm not sure if we're even going to mess with it - we're plenty proud of our peavey tones XD

If they can't be bothered to send you an amp to review than you can't be bothered to endorse them

I know this is a little late. I have both the Basson BGA-1 and the Basson 4x12 cab. If you can find one grab it, absolutely amazing tone and the cabs are outstanding. I found them at NAMM in 2007, and played their demo prototype guitar head and cab, just on a whim as I saw Nikki Sixx was endorsed by them. So I played a std mex strat they had there no mods, and I could not believe the tone and sound out of that amp. So I talked with them and they gave me an endorsement, I have had the head and cab for quite sometime now. it has gone around the country with me, its on my band's albums and in our music videos.
Victor Basson, closed shop back in 2009 as the economy was so bad, and well he is competing against some huge name companies. The saying I once heard Jimmy Page say seems to be so true, "the best guitars, amps, gear are from the companies you never heard of". With Basson that statement was/is proven true. Now everyone has his or her own tastes, but I have to say this head and cab are so versatile within its sound, its a work horse, it is very very heavy but it is so worth it.
I have been trying to locate another, as Victor no longer has any stock left. Once again if you get a chance to hear it and get your hands on it, grab it!!!!

The Bassonn cabinets were made of mdf (he say) but the cabinets would peel layer by layer like lower grades of sheet lam. Wheels would break off the bottom because of the soft box. tha t also made the cabs sound good because no standing waves and stuff. THeir bass speakers were supposed to have 12 1/2 pound magnets but the chinese they used had less than 5 pound mags on em.
