Ok guys, Being a guy that makes his living recording, I've dealt with many bands. Mostly heavier bands as there is a serious vaccum of metal studios in my city.
So I have this pop punk band come out and do an EP. I've recorded some pretty heavy metal bands that kick some serious ass. But these kids managed to be so heavy that they blew out not 1, but 2 freaking amps in 2 days of recording. Yet none of these really bad ass metal dudes have even put a scratch on an amp in the studio. WTF guys?

It's no secret here that I started out as a melodic punker, so I feel no shame saying this.
The first show I ever played, we did a cover of some Blink 182 song for the school talent show.
One song, fried my amp, and they had to clear the gym cause of all the smoke.
The music may not be metal, but the effect is!

I bust my amp about 30 times per band rehersal and beat it back into the game with force. Beat that punk poppers How the hell did they manage to blow out these amps btw.? It's a mistery to me how people somehow wreck their equipment but once I know how to I'll join their row.
