A Cowboy From Hell, that was Far Beyond Driven, you were Goddamn Electric, the Medicine Man, who wrote his Message In Blood, using The Art Of Shredding, you died in a Vulgar Display Of Power, Walk to the Cemetery Gates, Rise above the Floods, you are forever Stronger Than All, and we are forever Hollow. I spent most of the day watching bootlegs and tributes.
All I can say:
He went out doing what he loved and didnt feel a thing.
Godspeed Mr. Abbot.

*watches Floods solo with lighter in air*
Gonna listen to Hollow and Cemetery Gates now.
I remember the day I heard the news. Our band had a gig in a nearby town, and the bassist called me early in the morning with the gameplan for the day... and to tell me that something serious may have happened to Dime. Stuff was all over the web, and we were all thinking(hoping) it was just rumors/exaggeration. Next gig after that we were calling for a toast in his memory.
I still have yet to hear a guitarist that puts that much feeling into their playing, especially at speed. Every single notes counts, every single one grabs you.
