I distinctly see two strings and tuners for each string. Sounded okay, but just pretty repetitive.

It's good shit.. Pretty repetitive but it's still badass shit, IMO the only having one string part puts the instrument kinda boundaries thus making it penultimate to more stringed and harmonizing instruments..

Yeah it sounds really badass. You can make very cool solos with this one, slow and musical. I am tempted to buy a well crafted balalaika the next time i go to Russia and put an acoustic pickup into it, and see how badass sound i can make with it.

Sounds like a challenge But im afraid it'd lose its point if it were solid body. But, you can still have 2 EMG's in it
