Ibanez RG121A Prestige GC Blowout @$460 Fixed (monster) bridge, V7/V8 pickups are more than adequate (great shred/hard rock tones) 5-way switch puts the humbuckers into single coil mode - which is very versatile setup. Prestige means awesome build quality (made in Japan by J-Custom Team). Expect to pay about $150 for the Prestige case (which is f*ing awesome) - but you can get that any time.
You'll love this guitar.

You interested in my old Jackson (doubt I will use it much more with the new Parker Fly)?
Japanese Jackson Dinky-ish kind of thing (Jackson Fusion Professional) Low profile OFR 24 frets, rosewood board Overwound bridge pickup with upgraded magnets (dunno who made it but I modified it), absolutely crushes with squealing pinches Hot Rails in mid position Fernandes Sustainer in neck
DARK SHIFT sticker \m/
It's not in great cosmetic condition though (used to be my live guitar).

I don't really care about how it looks, if it plays well. Will you take $300 in a couple weeks? (Let the haggling begin, lulz.)

The only problem with this is that i am in the UK... and as such, shipping is a bit of a bitch and the dollar is worth fuck all atm... not to mention, 300 is kind of a lowball offer on this guitar - EVERYTHING has been customised (new original floyd, aftermarket pickups, fernandes sustainer worth 200 as is)... it'll pretty much own for instance the ibanez in the post above. Tell you what - give me your email or msn address (if you use it). I'd be very happy if you sent me over an ISP Decimator ProRack-G rack noisegate in exchange...

I know it was, but didn't want to bid too high. Apologies, I didn't mean to be insulting.
But we'll see what we can do, aye? I should be getting a big-ass paycheck in the next week or two. I'll PM you my email.

I've got your decent shred guitar 3 feet from my feet. Seriously, you own it and you let me borrow it so...

Schecter C-1 Hellraiser
I take this guitar over anything triple in price. You can get them for like 550-650 (800-850 w/ a whammy). It is a solid body, with emg 81 and 85. 24 frets. And they are beautiful. The only thing i have heard people complain about with them is the neck has a finish like the body (something i like, but many shredders feels it slows them down) I sold one of my hellraisers to a buddy in A Pale Gray Sky and his Gibson Les Paul just collects dust now. That speaks volumes. TRY ONE, BUY ONE...they are awesome.

I sold it because the neck was twisted to hell. You could see the hump looking down it.

so you sold it because the neck was warped. Was it always that way or did it happen over time? Mine has been solid for years. I've owned 5. Anything else you didn't like on it. I have yet to find someone who thought the hellraiser was garbage...even Loomis used them before doing his custom line. As you can see i have a really big chub for the Hellraiser's. Just my opinion.
Believe it or not my buddy picked up a Jim Root signature (a fender) and it smokes. Plays really, really nice. And a Fender for christ sakes!!! Whats this world coming to.

Actually, I like Hellraisers too, and have been pondering looking at a 7-string one. I just need to play 'em for a while to make sure my medium-sized hands and weak wrist can handle that big fat dick neck.
