though it greatly pains me, i have to get rid of it now...i'd keep it if i could but i just bought a fixed bridge guitar since i'm playing rhythm in my band, and i need to sell this one to cover the cost. i'd really like one of you guys to get ahold of it, so i'd know it was going to somebody who'd take good care of it. cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270253788832

Damn, man. I would get that if I could, but I'd want to play it first (and I'm a couple hundred miles away, heh). Sexy guitar, though.

Dude, if it just sits at $250, I might snatch it up. Because that would be a steal for $400. The neck and frets are in good shape, no bowing or fret buzz with a nice low action? The only thing I'm really worried about is the finishless neck in transit -- it might go completely batshit haywire, and I really can't afford to deal with that right now.

well i had to pull it from ebay. the guitar that i got in had a couple defects with it, so i have to wait for AMS to send me the prepaid shipping label to send it back, and wait on a replacement to be sent out oh well. this may give me a chance to fix those few things that were wrong with it.

What kind of defects, dude? That sucks.

well, there was the cosmetic defect where there were some marks on the bottom edge of the fretboard (if you were hold the guitar, it's on the edge that faces the floor). the BIG problem was the incurable string buzz, bc it's hard to adjust a truss rod when YOU CAN'T FIND A SINGLE ALLEN WRENCH TO FIT IT!!!
it's sad too. it's the LTD FX260 explorer model w/ the natural satin finish and spalted maple top, and this thing plays AWESOME (neck problem aside) and looks great. so, i will be selling the jackson, it's just a matter of when i get the replacement in. It's good though, because it should give me some time to fix the few problems (get a trem arm, replacement tuning machine for the one that's broken, etc).

Fuck, I was pondering that fucker myself. I may just end up springing for the MH-400, though. We'll see.

Eric you should just spring for the SlSMG at New Music. It's probably set up better than mine (for now) and you love wanking on mine as it is. Also, it's in your price range.

I approve. Although those pickups probably suck. Stick some EMGs in there.

actually the pickups in it are great. kinda the same deal as the 7 string - they're good enough that i won't be changing them out anytime soon, but when the time comes i'm going active
