How do you set up Floyd Rose trems to let them gargle .One of my RGs does it but all the others don't. Damn confusing to me

Hmm maybe the springs on others are old? Maybe some trem parts need oiling? Although I am not familiar with Edge trems...

Give them a mouth and throat, and offer some mouthwash. In all seriousness, though, what the fuck does "gargling" mean in relation to a vibrato unit?

when you flick the bar so that the trem vibrates back and forth rapidly so it sounds sort of like very exaggerated vibrato

As long as you've got a floating tremolo, I don't think the setup should matter too much. It could be the tension is too high. What kind of strings do you use/ how many springs on the trem?

You may just need to reset the trem for fewer springs. I've got 3 springs set with down-tuned 10s and mine flutters whenever I want it to. Anything less than 3 will likely be too finicky, anyway.
Make sure your hand is not still touching the trem arm after you smack it or release from a dive. Also, don't RGs have a different trem than a Floyd Rose?

Yeah, but one of my RGs flutters and it has an edge pro . It seems to be the cheaper Floyd licensed that wont.

actually my guitar with licensed floyd doesnt flutter. But that is because the springs and some parts need oiling i think. Those licensed get rusty too quickly.

Hum. If that's the case maybe pick up some graphite lube like Guitar Grease ($6 at stewmac) and smear a little around the posts. If that doesn't work, maybe have a tech look at the edges?
