Ok I am scratching my head atm. I am inclined towards testing mesa boogie triaxis with 2:90. Anyone wants to say something about this combo? e.g. they suck... and so on ?

beautiful these would look incredible with the right stage lighting hitting them (not that they don't already look amazing). and i'm pretty sure that a triaxis and 2:90 is similar to the rig joel used for a while. only thing is they are very expensive. personally, i'm going to get that ENGL preamp that costs like $550 and an old peavy 60/60, because they're cheap

Yeah I also think if both guitarrists used these on stage, one green one blue, it would look amazing since these 2 look better than sex together Did Joel use a triaxis??

No, you don't. Schecter necks are way too fucking thick and uncomfortable. I have one, and it's my nicest guitar, but the neck is appalling.

i like schecters...i've played quite a few of them and i for one don't have any problem with the feel of the neck. only problem i do have about them is the finish they use on their necks. other than that, i love schecters (not as much as jackson though \m/ )

Meh. My plan right now is to go for one of those awesome new Ibanez S-series with the slash inlay, or else a Xiphos. Fuck I hate my Schecter's neck, it makes my fretting hand cramp up.

IMO, anything is better than a strat neck

JMO, but a gibby neck is worse than strat tis true, unless it's the 60's neck some of the LPs have, since it thins out more as you get higher on the fretboard. My cousin's LP Custom is the funnest paul i've ever played because it has one of those necks on it, meaning that I can actually shred on it decently. However, the Zakk Wylde pauls, I feel like i'm holding a baseball bat

BLACKMACHINE + DIEZEL AMP, that must sound crazy (if you fit some BKP in ) Latest G.A.S. news: I think i'm gonna order a ENGL E530 preamp, it,s cheap but sounds killer, for home practice it will be perfect \m/ (and I didnt received my cabinet yet... *evilgrin*
