We tried a JSX in the studio. I wasn't into it at all. The 5150 still sounds better to me. But i'll have to see what Joel comes up with, maybe i'll change my mind

Lolz. Dual Rectifiers and 5150s are the AMERICAN AMP.

5150 is every single country's amp. Its just the most common amp you see at clubs. After that comes double crucifier.

Had a metal band in w/ a dual rect today. I'll have some in context dual rect and jsx clips by the end of the week.

pretty brutal sounding w/ that dual rec. i'm not much into their particular style, but they have At the Throne of Judgement in their influences list, so i'll let them slide

Hey Joel I wonder if you ever scratch your teeth in the studio, seeing how many hardcore bands you are working with

No teeth scratching here. I enjoy working with most of the bands I do. I'm just happy that I get to make money doing what I love. The only time I get irritable is when people don't prepare before coming in and/or can't play to a click.

so what do you do then if say a guitarrist can't play to a click and has "extreme" amount of talent at keeping rythm? Is it possible to make a band 100% tight with editing?
I am kinda wondering if its possible to make some "geetar newb" band suffering from extreme amount of faggotitis sound like virtuosos on record (not talking about live)

My answer, Torky: Dragonforce.

no matter how much someone sucks, I can usually make them sound good. If they can't play it... I'll do it for them.
